IBTC was started in Leicester U.K. and Mumbai simultaneously. At present it operates from Leicester, Mumbai and Bangalore.

In 1987 IBTC joined hands with India Book House Magazine Services to act as agents in India, who were sole distributors for Magazines such as time News week fortune in India.

In 1990 IBTC contracted with Citibank whereby all their Diners Club and Master/Visa members received the IBTC benefits.

In 1991 IBTC contracted with Bank of Baroda’s Bobcards whereby all their Master/Visa members were IBTC members and received the IBTC benefits.

In 1997 IBTC contracted with Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) whereby all their Gold card numbers were IBTC members and received our benefits.
